The empowerment programme saw the lawmaker donating tricycles, motorcycles, and cash support running into millions of naira, is in concert with activities marking Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide’s one year in office as a second-term federal lawmaker.
Hon. Olajide, while presenting the empowerment package to the benefiaries said the gesture was aimed at boosting businesses, supporting families, and cushioning the effect of fuel subsidy on businesses of residents and supporters within the constituency and across the state.
He noted that the N20 million was disbursed to beneficiaries through a transparent and fair process, adding that the tricycles and motorcycles were provided to support transportation and employment in the constituency.
The cash support, according to Hon. Olajide, is aimed at supporting small-scale businesses and families in the constituency.

“I am delighted to empower my constituents with this package, which I believe will go a long way in boosting businesses, supporting families, and cushioning the effect of fuel subsidy on businesses in our constituency and I want to assure my constituents that I will continue to work tirelessly to attract more developmental projects and empowerment programs to our constituency, he added.
Hon. Olajide stated further that the empowerment program is part of his efforts at fulfilling his campaign promises and giving back to the community that elected him as their representative.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Abideen Olutope, who went home with a brand new Tricycle, who was full of praises for Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, (Odidiomo), promised to make good use of the empowerment package and pledged to continue supporting him in his political endeavors.
While other benefiaries of the empowerment programme described the gesture as a testament to Hon. Olajide’s dedication to empowering his constituents and his efforts at having positive impact on the lives and welfare of the people of Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency.
