Stop Misusing my Name for Political Gains – Odidi Omo cautions APC Leaders

Federal lawmaker Adedeji Olajide Dhikirulahi Odidi omo has issued a stern warning to All Progressive Congress (APC) leaders and members in his constituency to cease using his name to bolster the party’s tarnished image.

Odidi omo’s warning came in response to another instance of misinformation spread by Olakunle Ogunfemi, the APC chairman of Ward 12 in Apata, Ibadan Southwest. Ogunfemi had falsely claimed that Odidiomo had turned down a community’s request for assistance because they had not voted for him.

Odidi omo strongly refuted the allegation, accusing Ogunfemi of not only attempting to gain undeserved popularity for his senator and party but also of resorting to pettiness to manipulate the constituency’s residents.

The lawmaker emphasized his unwavering commitment to serving all constituents with fairness and equity, regardless of their political affiliation. He clarified that he had never turned down a request from any community and had, in fact, provided a brand new 500KVA transformer for Egbetedo community, the only community that had approached him with a transformer-related issue.

Odidi omo urged the people of the Southwest/Northwest constituency to remain vigilant against the unhealthy politicking of political jobbers. He reminded them that their right to demand the fulfillment of electoral promises must be met with his responsibility to deliver on those promises.

As evidence of his comprehensive commitment to the constituency’s welfare and development, Odidi omo pointed to the completion of the ICT Center and the targeted distribution of palliatives. These initiatives aim to foster a more informed, united, and prosperous constituency.

The lawmaker expressed confidence in the trust placed in his representation and urged constituents to focus on the tangible initiatives underway for their betterment. He reiterated his commitment to serving all constituents with fairness and equity, ensuring that the voices and needs of the entire constituency are heard and addressed.
