On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Joint Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity from both the Senate and the House of Representatives, led by Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu and Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo), held a one-day retreat in Lagos State to review and refine the National Digital Economy and E-Governance Bill 2025 ahead of its public hearing scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Senate Conference Room 022, National Assembly Complex.<\/div>\n

\u2022Promote transparency, openness, and accountability in governance through digital platforms.<\/div>\n
\u2022Establish a regulatory framework for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.<\/div>\n
