The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Rep. Stanley Adedeji Olajide, the Nwanne Dinamba Ndi Igbo of Yorubaland, and other dignitaries met with the Igbo community from all geo-political zones of Oyo State, at Prince & Princess Hall, NTC Road, Ibadan.
It was a colorful event as community members from all geopolitical zones came out in large numbers to declare support for the Omituntun 2.0.
The Governor felt appreciative, and in his remarks, he said the mantra of the present government is to maintain equity among ethnic groups in Oyo State, adding that an enabling environment has been provided for indigenes and non-indigenes for business to thrive.
While thanking the Igbo community in the state for their cooperation and love, he urged them to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections. He also promised to address various demands tabled before him, with the assurance that more dividends of democracy will be brought to them in Omituntun 2.0 if re-elected.
In attendance were, the Chairman, Advisory Council, Sen. Hosea Agboola, the Chief of Staff – Hon. Ogunwuyi, DG, the Governor Campaign Committee – Chief Bayo Lawal, National Assembly Candidates, Mogaji Tegbe, Chief Bisi Ilaka, and a host of others.
