Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba Ibadan, was the beehive of activities as members of Oyo state Peoples Democratic Party PDP, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Thousands of defectors from All Progressive Congress APC, African Democratic Congress ADC, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Alliance for Democracy, AD, some other political parties in the state were officially received into the rulling party, PDP.
Addressing the defectors, Oyo State Governor said “Today, it is our pleasure to officially welcome defectors from APC, ADC, ZLP and other political parties into our great party, the PDP.”
He also revealed that the official slogan for the election campaigns is Omituntun 2.0. Working together, assuring that there is continuity of good governance for the people of Oyo State.
