Rep. Adedeji Stanley Olajide through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA) in collaboration with Two Streams Integrated Services LTD, empowered over 100 women in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest federal constituency.
The empowerment this time around was in the poultry and fishery value chain. Poultry and fishery is an attractive enterprises among urban smallholder farming households and is the most common livestock reared for home consumption and sale.
The Federal lawmaker said the initiative was targeted at ensuring that our women are financially independent and self-sufficient to withstand the current economic challenges in the country as each participant was equipped with starter packs consisting of day-old chicks, feeds, drinkers, feeders, and financial support.
Odidi omo sees this as a way of ensuring that the dividends of democracy that he promised the people of Ibadan Northwest/Southwest federal constituency gets to their doorsteps.
He further promises to keep putting his people first, ensuring that they keep getting access to better and upgraded means of livelihood.
