In a significant step towards the development of the National Digital Economy and e-Governance Bill, Hon. Dhikrullahi Adedeji Olajide, popularly known as Odidiomo, the Chairman of the House Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology, led a crucial stakeholder engagement event today, Tuesday, July 9th, 2024.
The event, which was organized specifically for the media, marks the first in a series of engagements planned under the leadership of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrimes, chaired by Sen. Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, and the House Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology, led by Odidiomo. The event was held in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy (FMCDE).
During the interactive session, the content of the National Digital Economy and e-Governance Bill was shared with the attendees, and valuable input from the stakeholders present was noted.
