Rep. Olajide honored as Choir Patron at St. James Cathedral’s 116th Choir Anniversary

In a memorable gathering that celebrated both faith and music, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, affectionately known as Odidi Omo, participated in the 116th Anniversary of St. James Cathedral. This significant event took place at the renowned Cathedral of St. James the Great in Oke-Bola, Ibadan, and left an indelible mark on all in attendance.

With the theme “I Will Sing with the Spirit,” inspired by 1 Corinthians 14:15, the day was dedicated to spiritual resonance and profound gratitude. Odidi Omo’s presence added a touch of distinction to the celebration as he shared the role of Chairman alongside Evangelist (Dr.) Funmi Aragbaye JP, a revered musician.

Prof. Soji Adejumo, Chairman of the Choir Committee, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the anniversary service, ensuring that it flowed seamlessly. The highlight of the day was the official appointment of Odidi Omo as the choir patron, signifying his commitment to preserving the cathedral’s rich musical heritage and fostering harmonious worship within the community.
