The forthcoming general election would mark a significant milestone for Nigeria, and Saturday, February 25, 2023, is an opportunity for the citizens to use the power of the vote. This has prompted Rep. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, who represents Ibadan Northwest/Southwest federal constituency, to encourage electorates to come out en masse to exercise their right to vote. In his own words, Odidi omo, as he is affectionately known, stated:
“The elections are upon us. Today is the last day of the campaign before Saturday’s election.
So far, Oyo State, under the leadership of his excellency Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde has witnessed a positive turnaround in the past four years, making him an excellent role model in the nation. He has done excellently well in all sectors ranging from education, healthcare, durable and accessible road networks throughout Oyo State, agriculture,, and proper care of our aging population, especially the pensioners.
This has made it easy for me to complement his achievements in my constituency by providing a comfortable environment in various sectors such as; education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure, and by empowering the youths, market women, and the aging population.
I, therefore, implore my people to take heart, be patient with the deplorable situation of the country and come out en masse to cast their votes for me and all PDP candidates on Saturday, February 25, to restore and rescue Nigeria from the prevalent hardship ravaging her.
