Rt. Hon. Dhikrullah Adedeji Olajide, popularly known as Odidiomo, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Ayete Central Mosque in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The award, presented on Saturday, August 29, 2026, recognised Odidiomo’s contributions towards the development of the mosque and the wider Muslim community.
Odidiomo was represented at the presentation by Hon. Kunle Folarin, who formally received the award on his behalf.
In his message following the recognition, Odidiomo expressed gratitude and humility, attributing his position and opportunities to serve to the grace of Almighty Allah.
He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people, uplifting lives and supporting initiatives that contribute meaningfully to the development of communities.
Odidiomo also reiterated his commitment to supporting the Ayete community with an ICT Hub, which is expected to create opportunities for digital learning, skills development and empowerment for young people.
He appreciated the Ayete Muslim community for the honour, describing it as a reminder that there is still more work to be done. “This honour is not a destination but a greater call to service,” Odidiomo said.
