The Super Falconets thrilled fans in Ibadan with a dominant 4–0 victory over Rwanda at the Lekan Salami Stadium, completing a 5–0 aggregate win to progress in the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Among the dignitaries present at the stadium were the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo), Member representing Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. Their presence added weight to the occasion, reflecting the growing recognition of sports as a unifying force for national pride and youth development.
On the pitch, the Falconets showed class and composure:
