A Two years Empowerment Program Analysis; coined around, buying a SHOE ๐orย a GOAT ๐:
I wish many people see things from Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajideโs (ODIDIOMO) own point of view.
About a year ago, some aged women and widows were given One Male (Buck) ๐ and Two Female goat ๐๐(Does) during Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide (ODIDIOMO) Animal Husbandary Empowerment Program in conjunction with (IAR&T) Institute of Agricultural Research and Training, Departmentof Animal Husbandary Service. A gesture that is rare and life changing, making the beneficiaries financially independent at the long run.
Some beneficiaries of this special hybrid specie called (Capra aegagrus hircus) Goat ๐, rear the animal and they have multiplied immensely now, some social media vagabonds even condemn the animal husbandry idea.
Our society is of mixed reaction & point of view. It is understandable though; but the question is; between giving people money to buy material things and teaching people how to fish ๐ฃ and make money. Which is one serves the greater good that will last for a lifetime. Me, I prefer a Leader that teaches people how to fish, like Gov. Seyi Makinde, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, and other logical and humanist politicians like them.
The testimonies are all around us. I personally grow up rearing goat ๐ at my parentโs backyard while growing up. Something l still want to do, but my present abode owner (landlord) forbid rearing of animal of any kind in his house ๐ .
Letโs be logical in our reasoning, animal husbandry is a lucrative business, something the Argentines ๐ฆ๐ท invest heavily in, producing milk, meat, wool and leather for exportation.
ODIDIOMO is a Leader and not a ruler. His political sagacity is unequal and life-transforming. for good. He think of what people can do on their own and be self reliance rather than keeping them at bay for a weekly stipends. His breed is rare. We thank God we found you in our Constituency in our time.
God bless Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency.
God bless Oyo State and may God bless you, the reader of this piece from Hon. Kunle Akindele (Ward 8, Ibadan SW & Mr. Gabriel Irabor (Ward 10, Ibadan NW).
Greatness is ours.
