Hon. Adedeji Dhikrulahi Stanley Olajide, popularly known as Odidiomo, has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), bringing to a close an important chapter in his political journey.
The decision, conveyed in a resignation letter dated May 5, 2026, followed extensive consultations with political associates, supporters, and constituents.
This decision was not taken lightly. It comes after careful reflection on current realities and a clear desire to continue public service in an environment that supports inclusiveness, stability, and progressive engagement.
Throughout his time in the PDP, Hon. Olajide remained committed to the growth of the party and the advancement of its ideals.
He expresses sincere appreciation to the leadership and members of the party at all levels for the support, trust, and opportunities extended to him over the years.
His emergence and re-election as the representative of Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency stand as part of that shared journey.
This transition is made in good faith, without bitterness, and with deep respect for the relationships built along the way.
As part of the process, he has requested that his name be removed from the PDP membership register and all official records at the ward, local government, state, and national levels, effective immediately.
