The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has officially set the stage for its 2025 Elective National Convention, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th November, 2025, at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State. This landmark event, tagged Ibadan2025, is seen as a decisive moment for the party to reunite, reposition, and reclaim its role as Nigeria’s leading opposition party.
In line with the resolutions of the National Executive Committee (NEC), distinguished party members have been appointed to serve on the **National Convention Organizing Committee (Main Committee). Among them is Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, fondly known as Odidiomo, who occupies the 51st position on the official list.
Hon. Olajide Stanley Adedeji’s appointment reflects his unwavering commitment to party unity, visionary leadership, and grassroots development. As a Federal Representative and a dedicated voice for the people of Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West, his inclusion further strengthens Oyo State’s influence in shaping the future of the PDP at this historic convention.
The 2025 Convention is expected to:
- Elect new national leaders for the party.
- Heal divisions and foster reconciliation among members.
- Outline strategies for economic recovery, job creation, and social justice.
- Reposition the PDP to reclaim governance and provide credible alternatives to Nigerians.
